Visited this historic theater in Mitchell last night and it was an awesome experience that I recommend to everyone passing through or in the nearby area. The sound quality was great, the screen and theater itself were big, and the concessions were good too. The prices for the tickets and the food was very reasonable, especially compared to other theaters. The entire place was also decked out with interesting historical items and pieces that made the place almost look like a little museum which was cool to look at prior to starting the movie. One thing to note is that they only take cash and both the ticket center at the front and the concession booth, so make sure you have that on you.

Cute little movie theater with lots of fun memorabilia on the walls. The seats were very comfortable...not recliner comfortable, but at least the arm rest between the seats lifted up for more room. Sound system was awesome and so was the curved screen. Only down fall was that they only take cash or checks and the Popcorn was stale.

Wonderful place! The employees service is vantastic. The theaters is that of antiques pictures and news clips of 1939. Pictures of late people from the community. Awesome sound system for the movie! And the best popcorn have ever had.

Great pricing for tickets and snacks, it's cash only though. The seating was comfortable and spacious. There is a balcony that costs a dollar extra. Will be going back when they are playing a movie we want to see.
